David Pak, D.O.
Board of Directors President
Dr. David Pak is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in patient care. He was the owner and operator of the Allied Institute of Medicine in the San Antonio and New Braunfels area where he had 7 Medical Clinics, Wellness Center, Hospitalist Program, House Call and Tele-Health Programs. Dr. Pak is thrilled to be back home in New Braunfels to offer the highest quality healthcare in South Texas.

Filomeno Gonzalez, M.D.
Dr. Filomeno Gonzalez, Jr. attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After completing his deployment in Germany as a Captain in the Field Artillery, he pursued his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Specializing in Family Medicine, he later completed his residency from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, NE. Dr. Gonzalez is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Gonzalez has practiced medicine in New Braunfels, TX for over ten years and plans to continue his passion of providing excellent care and practicing preventive rather than reactive medicine with Pak Medical Group. He is driven to make a positive change in healthcare delivery for seniors.
Greg Taylor, M.D.
Dr. Greg Taylor attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in Houston, TX and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland AFB, TX. Dr. Taylor served his country as a staff Internal Medicine Physician at Elmendorf AFB, AK and Eglin AFB, FL, and also deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He has over 15 years of experience in clinical and hospital medicine having also served as Chair of the Department of Medicine at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI and Associate Professor for both the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Medical College of Wisconsin. He further distinguished himself as a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. Having a special interest in caring for the geriatric community, Dr. Taylor joined Pak Medical Group in New Braunfels, TX.
Elena Marin, M.D.
Dr. Elena Marin is a native of Brownsville, TX. She graduated from the University of Houston School of Pharmacy, earned her M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency at Duke University Medical Center. She began practicing Pediatrics in 1986 at Su Clinica through the National Health Service Corps where she was promoted to Medical Director, then Chief Executive Officer – a position she has held since 1996. Dr. Marin was appointed by Governor Perry to serve on the Bi-National Health Care Plan committee, the Chronic Kidney Disease Task Force, and also the Institute of Health Care Quality and Efficiency Board where she chaired the Access to Care Committee. She currently serves on the Board of the Texas Association of Community Health Centers. Dr. Marin is a strong advocate for compassionate and quality care. She knows that developing a trusting relationship with patients and their families is a crucial foundation for improving health and wellbeing.
Jay Gruhlkey, M.D.
Dr. Jay Gruhlkey is a leading family care physician practicing at Lonestar Medical located in New Braunfels, TX. He provides thorough allergy testing and treatment, nutritional counseling, treatment for diabetes, high cholesterol, and performs minor office procedures. Dr. Gruhlkey also provides a variety of primary care services, DOT physicals, and FAA Medical Exams.
Dr. Gruhlkey earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and has been in practice since 2001. Dr. Gruhlkey and his staff are dedicated to serving their patients with compassionate and effective care.
Daniel Kellum, M.D.
Dr. Daniel Kellum, Jr. was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1983. He later attended St. Mary’s University where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1987. Following his undergraduate completion, Dr. Kellum attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX where he graduated in 1991. Dr. Kellum successfully completed his Family Practice Residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, TX in 1994.
Dr. Kellum is married, and he has four sons. In his spare time, Dr. Kellum enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
Chandrasekhar Reddy, M.D.
Mateo Reyes, M.D.
Dr. Mateo Reyes has been a Board Certified Family Medicine Doctor since 2000. He graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1992, then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he graduated with top honors in Family Medicine in 1997. He completed his residency at the McClellan County Medical Education and Research foundation/University of Texas Southwestern in Waco in 2000, then returned to his hometown of Laredo where he has been in private practice since. Dr. Reyes is the founder and owner of South Laredo Family Clinic with two locations to serve the Laredo community. He has served as Chief of Staff, Board Member and Chief ff Family Medicine on numerous occasions at Laredo Medical Center and Doctors Hospital of Laredo. Currently, Dr. Reyes is a member of the Core Faculty for the University Of Incarnate Word Family Medicine Residency Program in Laredo and serves as Associate Professor of Family Medicine for UTRGV and UTHSC SA Physician Assistant programs. He also serves as the Medical Director for Concilio Hispano and CIMA / Hara Hospice and is a Board Member of the Seven Flags ACO. Dr. Reyes practices the full spectrum of family medicine. His clinic was voted the best primary care clinic in Laredo, TX by readers of Laredo Morning Times for eight consecutive years.
